The life and death of Matthew Shepard, the gay man who was murdered in Laramie, Wyoming in 1998, is the subject of a new documentary titled “Matt Shepard is a Friend of Mine.” The documentary will be shown on Friday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Buckingham Performing Arts Center at Wyoming Seminary Upper School, North Sprague Avenue, Kingston.
Admission is free and open to the public. Donations to benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation will be accepted at the door. Members of the Sem student organization SAGE (Sexual and Gender Equality) are hosting the showing of the documentary and will be selling Erase Hate t-shirts and bracelets to benefit the foundation as well.
